What does the Parent Council do?
Parent council is established with parents, teachers, and the principal. The council serves an advisory capacity on education and management matters. Parent council advice and suggestions are welcomed in the areas of curriculum, school atmosphere, community services to enhance student learning, priorities for facilities and equipment, program and budget priorities, learning materials and volunteer support for the school.
Activities that are hosted by Parent Council include:
Meet the Teacher night, Harvest Supper, Halloween Carnival, Holiday Gift Store, Christmas Lunch, treats after the Christmas Concert, Shrove Tuesday meal, Random Acts of Kindness to name a few.
