Congratulations to our AJSH students who competed in the Alberta Winter Games this past weekend.
Zone 7 consisted of the Cold Lake wrestling team and the Fort Mac wrestling team coached by Nick Papalia and Ryland Coventry.
The team won 8 individual medals, 4 gold, and 4 silver including gold for Crusaders Riley Papalia and Lyla Garden.
Zone 7 finished in 4th place overall - a huge improvement from previous years. Venus LaBoucane, Reighynn Pawlowski, Jordan West and Caden Ross fought hard and contributed to overall team points to help secure fourth.
Congratulations to all Crusader athletes who participated in the games!

This year, ACPI invites French immersion students in grades 4 to 12 enrolled full-time in a public or private secondary school in Canada, university students in teaching or teacher training, and professionals in the immersion to participate in the national Immersion clip competition. The competition consists of creating a 30 to 90-second video clip on the theme of the year: My favorite word in French.
Did you know that the French language has more or less 60,000 words? It's huge, isn't it? But guess what? To be able to communicate on a daily basis and read most content, it would be enough to know about 5% of these words. The more words we know, the more precisely we can express ourselves.

We're hiring!

Congratulations to these amazing Senior band students who took part in the University of Alberta Honour Band this weekend! What a remarkable performance at the Winspear!

These students discovered bowling was right up their alley 🎳
On February 9, EALL students from École Notre Dame High and Assumption Jr/Sr HIgh School left no pin standing. Almost 50 students were bussed to King Pins Bowling in Bonnyville for a day of socializing and mental wellness.
The field trip was partially funded through the LCSD Mental Health Matters Campaign as a reminder that socializing, being active, and trying new things are all connected to mental wellness.
