Bus Lane & Student Pick Up and Drop Off

• A reminder to all parents and visitors that it is a traffic code violation to pass buses at any time while their stop sign is out and lights are flashing.

• The bus lane must remain traffic free for student safety during pick up and drop off times.

• The north parking lot by the library is for students and parents. If you require additional parking during pick up or drop off time you can park in the teacher parking lot starting along the north end.

• There should never be any parents parked behind the first two vehicles on the south end of the parking lot for student safety.

Visitor Entrance, Sign In & Visits

• Parents & visitors must use the front door upon entering the building and sign in at the office.

• Visitors are asked to stop at the office before ever proceeding to classrooms. We ask that we limit class disruptions with quick drop offs and visits.

Volunteers

• All volunteers must complete a volunteer application and provide the school with a current Criminal Record Check.

Lunch Information

• Students in grade 3-12 will have access to microwaves at lunch time. Kindergarten to grade 2 must bring items that do not require being warmed up (or in a thermos).

• Hot Dog Friday - Every second Friday we will hold hot dog sales. Students must bring money in the morning and pre-order their hot dogs that will be ready at lunch. Check the calendar for hot dog Friday dates.

• Hot Lunch Program - WSYF provides a hot lunch program for students on Wednesdays. The hot lunches must be ordered in advance through the MunchaLunch website. Order deadlines are monthly and usually mid month. Volunteers will deliver the hot lunch items to the school on Wednesdays.
