year end message

Dear Lakeland Catholic Families,

As the school year draws to a close and summer begins to unfold, we take a moment to give thanks. This season invites us to pause and reflect on the many blessings of the past year and the presence of God in all we have experienced as a division. From the very first day of school to the final bell, His grace has guided our students, families, and staff through every success, every challenge, and every step forward.

Our students have grown in knowledge, character, and faith. Whether learning in the classroom, serving in their communities, or praying together as school families, they have reminded us of the beauty and hope found in Christ-centered education. Their energy and joy bring life to our schools, and it is a privilege to walk alongside them.

To our parents and guardians, thank you for choosing Catholic education. Your trust and partnership are not taken for granted. The example you set at home, your involvement in school life, and your commitment to our shared mission have made a lasting difference.

To our staff, thank you for your dedication and service. You do more than teach. You lead, you guide, and you accompany students in their formation as thoughtful, faith-filled young people. Your witness helps shape a generation rooted in Gospel values.

As we look ahead to the summer months, we pray that God grants each of you time for rest, renewal, and family. May this season be one of peace and purpose, filled with moments that remind us of His goodness and love.

To our graduates, we celebrate this important milestone and pray that you continue to walk boldly in faith and purpose. To our retirees, thank you for your years of faithful service. And to every student and family, we look forward to welcoming you back in the fall as we continue our shared vision with Christ our model, and children as our focus..

“Peace be with you all. Beloved brothers and sisters, this is the first greeting of the Risen Christ, the Good Shepherd who has given His life for the flock of God. I, too, would like this greeting of peace to enter your hearts, reach your families, to all people, wherever they may be, to all peoples, to all the earth. Peace be with you.”

— Pope Leo XVI

May God bless you abundantly this summer, and may His peace remain with you always.

Sincerely,

Sheldon Germain
