This Student to Teacher feature highlights Abygahil Campos Retana! Now a teacher at Holy Family Catholic, Abygahil was once a student at our Bonnyville schools! She returned to Lakeland Catholic as a teacher because she wanted to teach in a division that felt like family and puts children first. "It was during my time as a student at Lakeland Catholic that I discovered I wanted to be a teacher... I want to inspire and make a difference in children's lives, the way my teachers and mentors at Lakeland Catholic did for me." #LCSDJoy

Today, all Lakeland Catholic staff are participating in professional development and celebration during our Division Collaboration Day. On October 29, Lakeland Catholic School Division accepted a Coup de Coeur BRAVO! Award from the Canadian Association for Communicators in Education (CACE) for our video: Holy Family Catholic School: The Heart of the Community.
